Hi Pierre,

In Congress Forever, it will be the elections for the House. It won't have primaries for those races, but you're right that primaries make a difference in how the seat elections unfold.

Dear friends ...

I'm so happy to hear news from this game.

Small question, do you happen to plan a "primaries system" ?

Not really sure this would works, however it would be very important to determine victories. Sorry I will give to "Senate" examples, even if senate elections won't be in your game :

- In Florida, some Conservatives don't want Charlie Crist to win against Marco Rubio. In the same time, everybody knows that if Rubio wins, it is most unlikely that the GOP will lost this senate seat.

- In PA, Specter is now a Democrate because he feared Pat Toomey. However, it now seems that Pat Toomey may still win against Specter in 2010 during General election. So a less moderate may win the primary and win, unlike Florida.

Will that be one of your goals to implement that kind of system ?

I'm an Australian, but I follow US politics closely. For US politics news, I go to Politico and FiveThirtyEight. I also visit Newsweek, for both its politics news and its international focus. On the Australian side, I visit The Australian or The Age websites.

Hi Adam, thanks for the correction - should read "was unopposed by a candidate from the Democratic or Republican party".

Seeing as how I voted for Abel Tomlinson, the opposition candidate for Arkansas House District 4, I find this factoid hard to believe.

Hi Adam,
Thanks for the feedback! This is a good idea, and we have thought about this before. If it happens it won't be for some time, though.

i love your guys' games, but you really should make a more comprehensive political game. as in, playing yourself, a fictional character, or a real politican, and running for election from the ground up, choosing to run for reelection in an office, or moving up in scale, and actually having a bit of the game around actually being in office.

again, your games are great. but... ultimately, not a ton of replayability because they're so noncomprehensive.
